How many nails is a dog supose to have?

I just noticed today that my dog has 5 nails [the front] on one paw and 4 on the others! Shes a westie if the breed even matters.

is something wrong? How many nails is a dog supose to have?
No its nothing wrong on the front youlle see she has for and then a bit upper her arm another 1 that equals five! I think thats what happens with each breed of dog they have diffrent problems its perfectly normal this happend to my friends dog, as long as she is in no pain shes fine! if you see her limping on her back legs take her to the vet!How many nails is a dog supose to have?
Usually, 5 on the front and 4 on the back. Some dogs can have as much as 6 on the front and 6 on the back! Some dogs have their dewclaws removed, so some may have less. Sadly, breeders think that dewclaws need to be removed, when in actuality, they don't.
Usually 5 in the front and 4 in the back for each paw. Sometimes dogs have extra toes in the back that have nails on them. My dog Lola has extra toes and i have to trim the nail just like any other toe. its kinda funny lol.
4 in back, 4 in front with a dew claw.
5 the front paws 4 the back paws
it depends on breed some have 5 front 4 back my eskimo has 4 front 4 back
