What age is appropriate for fake glue on nails?

I can get mine to last for 7-10 days in general but I'm a nail tech so apply them as I would for acrylics or gel.








You will need pure acetone, nail file and cotton buds/qtips





Make sure hands are clean and grease free. Soap and water clean before even touching the fakes





Size up your nails, file to fit if need be, laying them out in the order that they will be applied. Always go a size up if there is no exact fit, you can file it down to size but an over tight nail will pinch your own nail and can do permanent damage.





Score the underside of the artificial nail with a nail file, this is cross hatching and enables a much better bond.





Dip cotton bud into acetone and run it over your REAL nail a couple of times.





Dab nail glue onto crosshatched area of FALSE nail and press firmly onto your own nail, hold for 10 seconds for maximum adhesion








Using acetone removes some of the natural oils that are present in your nail plate. Its oils in the nail plate that make nails and glue separate. They're never appropriate.





Gluing those things onto your nails is pretty much like asking for a bacterial infection.


If you get any air bubbles in between the fake nail and your nail, moisture can get in and cause bacteria to start forming. Also if you don't remove them properly, you'll damage your nails.





It would be a lot better if you get them done by a professional. It'll cost more, but it'll last a heck of a lot longer than any glue on.What age is appropriate for fake glue on nails?

my ones are about 拢8 a pack, but for 2 like uses.


i bought them in boots in england :) if you're from england lol, just in case your not..


but they're called 'Real Life' with all the other nails :)


basically all I did was to make sure that I had enough glue on them, and pressed down hard. They always fall off after about 2 weeks anyway, but you can always restick them.


you have to be careful when you're doing certain stuff though lol, so be careful when pushing down on things lol :)

You are talking of supper gluing things to your nails causing damage to the nail and nail bed. There are these little things called nail files to keep your nails smooth on the edge, and products from Sally Hanson and others to strengthen and condition the nail. Put some polish on for color and let them get healthy with your help. As you age they will get thicker, and stronger.(stronger=longer)

I used to wear them when I was in 5th grade..hahah. It really doesn't matter, as long as you can't really tell they're glue on.
Well I would say anyone over 13 can use fake glue, but if ur 13 or under, dont use glue cause its really hard to get off. Trust me it's annoying.
