How do you repair fingernails after you remove acrylic nails?

one acrylic nail popped off when the wind caught a screen door i was grabbing, and so i removed the rest, but now my nails are wrecked, layers and layers ripped off, and they are even sore. how can I fix them? I'm afraid of a nail hardener or strengthener, as my nails are to thin and it might hurt, (burn) etc. please help!!How do you repair fingernails after you remove acrylic nails?
Just have to wait till they grow out. Be sure to keep them coated with clear polish - it helps protect. And don't try to grow them long, they'll just break. Short for now, longer later.

Mine took about 4 months to fully grow out.How do you repair fingernails after you remove acrylic nails?
clear undercoat then nail polish. it will act like a protective barrier until your nails get stronger. remember to reapply when your nails grow
Well if you want to get rid of the ridges and bumps on ur nails you can buy this 7 step filer from any drug store (cvs) its like $2 and follow the steps...that will really smooth out ur nail..and after you do that polish it with a clear coat. Its going to take a while for the nails to become strong, so hang in there.
