Nails........?

I just got a full set of acrylic nails on with white tips. I dont want the white tips on anymore. If i use nail polish remover to take off the white tips, will it make my nails come off? cause i dont want it tooNails........?
No the nails WILL NOT come off just from rubbing the polish remover across them. If they are soaked for a period of time in a bowl of polish remover then they will come off. When and if you go back to the nail salon, they will use polish remover to remove your old polish and designs and you will see that the nails don't come off.Nails........?
You can get them off yourself but trust me they are going to hurt. If you want to pay then go to the salon and do it there if not then do them on your own. I have done it before.
How about let the fake nails come off and actually grow your own nails. Stop biting.
non-acetone nail polish remover will not take your nails off, but it might take the shine off. if the white tips were airbrushed or painted on, then this will come off and just use a great topcoat such as clear opi. if the white tips were part of the acrylic, then the white will not come off. your best bet would be to paint your nails over it.
as long as you use NON-acetone nail polish remover you should be OK. But to be on the safe side be gentle and use a kleenex instead of a cotton ball. Also you could always just paint over the tips and if you use and opaque color it won't show through.
try it and see what happens. then try letting your real nails grow. it will be worth it in the end. i was a biter once upon a time and i don;t anymore.
i dont think so/
You can use non-acetone nail polish, but don't soak your nails in it, use a cotton ball to remove it. They will be kind of sticky feeling for a little while. Let it dry, then if they need it buff them to smooth them. You can paint them with color or not, but you need to at least put a clear coat on them to make them shiny again.

If the tips were white to begin with, I would try to paint over them, but you probably need to have them taken off, or have the nail salon paint over them. I would wait until it is time to have them filled in and ask the person filling them in what she/he would recommend.
hmmm it could possilbly
If you use an acetone base nail polish remover it will take off the nail if i where you I would go back to the shop and have them fix it for you it shouldn't cost you very much now if they airbrushed the tip white then polish remover wont take it off. Call your nail shop and ask them.
I would go to the salon and get them to re-paint tehm. Or if you use nail polish remover get the non-acitone that will do the trick!
well i dont think so because the acrylic is the top layer not the polish
non-acetone nail polish remover, found at most stores. will take of the paint but not mess with the glue that holds the nail the the acrylic nail.
